“Queen Bee” fine art print

This is a print of an oil painting of a sunflower from my garden. A bee sits on the back of the sunflower petal, matching the colour of the flower. Painted in 2024, I painted this from a reference image that I took of my 2023 garden. That year, the sunflowers grew so tall and hung over the side of our fence. The photo was taken at golden hour, just as the sun was shining on the garden with a warm light. The original painting is oil on birch wood panel, and the print captures both the texture of the oil paint as well as the wood grain.

Printed on beautiful matte, archival photo paper, and comes with artist signature on the back. Print has no white edges and is printed all the way to the edge of the paper and true to size. Sealed inside protective plastic sleeve, and shipped within sturdy reinforced envelope.
